Devetionals for july 21st.         Text Matt 11:28.

Topic; come just As you Are.

Come unto me all ye that labour and are heavy laden and I will give you rest.

The best thing that can happen to your soul is coming to christ to find rest to your soul. When you have everything you may need physically, without having christ, you will lack inner peace.

What does it mean when he says come unto me all ye that labour, it doesn't mean that you are labouring physically. But it means that you are labouring under the bondage of sin.

There may be bad Habits that you are struggling to quit. It may be negative life style that have been destroying your relationship with friends and relatives. It may be a dangerous trait in you that you said , you will quit and for years ,you are still struggling with it and it becomes a bondage .

That is why jesus christ is saying to you, come into me all ye that are labouring, and are heavy laden and I will give you rest.

Sometimes, it may be what you are passing through for years and you have been struggling to do it your own way. You have tried your best and apply different strategy, but things are not working out. Jesus christ is saying to you. Come unto me and I will give you rest. He has solution to all problem ,all you need to do is to acknowledge him as your lord and savior and put all your trust in him.

And he will give you rest by giving you solution to your problems and the peace that your soul needs.
