 Understanding the power of his Death on The Cross.

Today's topic: The power of God's love.

Text: john 3:16, for God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son, that whosoever that believeth in him, will not perish, but have everlasting life.

A story was told of a king that had an only son,a time came that his people began to witness hardship, the prophet of the land,got revelation that the King's son,will travel to a far land  to war with a certain spirit and win. it is only then, will the people of the land be free again. He said three times, that it is only the  King's son that is empowered to go.

When the king asked the prophet of the land,  how sure he is, concerning the journey, if his son will return in peace,  I do not know,!, becomes the reply. The king summoned the people of the land and said, it is true that my son,is the solution of what the whole land is passing through

But I cannot risk the life of my son to save anybody, since the safety of his return is uncertain. Everybody in the land started weeping.

But it is not so, with God, God is a powerful and merciful king, that will do anything to save the life of his children. The love he has for you and I, is unconditional. It is not because you are more beautiful, neither is it because of your colour or a particular race that you came from. It is his love towards us.

Now see the extent of his love, he gave his only begotten son, he is not like the other king, whose story I told you earlier that says, that,he cannot risk the life of his son.

The word of God says that, he gave his only begotten son, John 3:16, in other words, he sacrifice his son, for you to be saved. The truth is that God can do and give anything for you to be happy, free and protected.  Read my previous post about, "he that keepeth thee shall not sleep or slumber.

Now, that you discovered that God loves you and he can go extra mile, to sort out issues that concerns you and make you happy, the question is this. How have you benefited in the love of God.

 When I talk about benefitting from the love of God. I mean allowing the death of jesus to have impact in your life. Do you know that when you lack encounter with christ, you are making mockery of his Death on the cross.

Do you think that the story of the cross is a joke, it is not, it is real. That is why you need to accept him in your life, as your lord and savior.

When you read this post and neglect what God is trying to tell you and you continue to live your life anyhow you like it, without minding how God will feel, then you are making mockery of the cross.

You need to understand the purpose of his Death, on the cross. It is for you to be free from the bondage of satan and becomes, God's own. It is for you to establish a relationship with him, which will make you, experience, inner peace and total blessing.

It is for you to be qualified through  grace to be a carrier of the power of God and demonstrator of his power on earth.

1. Lord jesus, thank you so much for today.

2. Today, I accept you as my lord and personal savior, write my name in the book of life ,and give me the power to become your child, in the name of Jesus Christ. 

3.lord give me the power to please you in all that I do.
