Morning Devetionals For The Month Of August( Day11)
Observing the power of Quite time
Today's topic: He can calm Your storm.
Text: Matt 8: 26
Reading: And he said unto them, why are you afraid, o ye of little faith, then he arose and rebuked the wind and the sea and there was a great calm.
It is obvious ln life, as human being that we are bound to face storm at one point in time of our life. The storm may be sickness, failure, betrayal, disappointment, poverty, limitations, hopelessness, helplesness, being broke, marriage crisis etc, whichever one it might be , wether mentioned or not jesus can handle it.
The bible said in the book of Mathew 8: 26, when the storm started, the disciples were afraid of the storm, but when jesus came into the situation, he spoke to the storm and there was a great calm. It doesn't matter what you are going through today , all you need to do is to invite Jesus into the situation, to handle it and you will be happy that you did .
There was a family, that was going through marital crisis, the couple doesn't have peace at all. There was a great hatred planted by the enemy in this family, it came to a point that it seems like this family will break up, but the wife, decided to invite Jesus into the matter by going into deep prayers.
One day they came back from church service and immediately they opened their door, a wallgecko fell down on the floor and died, every body was surprised where the wallgecko came from. From that day, the couple began to experience happiness and peace in their marriage.
It is because, the wife decided to invite Jesus through prayers, when situation becomes unsual , you have to invite God that does things in an unsual way to handle it.
You can invite Jesus to calm Your storm, by giving your life to Christ. He can handle all situations.
Prayers
