Discovering the extent of his protection.

Topic: He that keepeth thee cannot sleep or slumber.

Text: psalm 121:1-8.

As you study today's devotional, understand that God can go extra mile for you to be protected. A story was told of a rich man that was extremely wealthy.

A time came in his life that , he became afraid , because he started nursing a thought that ,armrobbers may one day attack him and took away all that he has.  The thought became too much that, he developed sickness, even though that, the arm robbers, he was afraid of, he  did not not encounter them for one day.

What is God telling you today, depend on him for protection. You don't need to be afraid, no matter who you are and what you are , even if you are very famous and popular, and you  think, that some are jealous of you, no evil will, come near you.

Remember where we took our  text, psalm 121 vs 3, it says,  he will not allow your foot to be moved, he that keeps you will not slumber.

Believe it with all your heart, The word of God cannot be broken. He will  give you protection to the point that, arrows from the kingdom of darkness cannot locate you, whether, it is sickness that you are afraid of, gunmen, failure, evil of the day, and the one that is going on in the night.

God is assuring you that , you will not be victm of circumstances, that one evil or the other happen to others, doesn't mean that it will happen to you, because you are a child of God. You have the mark of the blood of Jesus Christ on your forehead, you are not designed to die untimely.

The word of God says that God shall preserve your soul. Like the story, I shared with you earlier, you don't need to be afraid of anything, through prayers and total dependence on God,he shall fight all your battles.

Prayers for the new month, August.

1. Father, thank you for today and this new month, August. May your name be glorified.

4.father in this month of August, I shall not be afraid of anything, in the name of Jesus Christ, amen.

5. Father in this month of August, I am Dwelling under your grace for protection.

6. I lift up the blood of Jesus Christ, against the strong hold of fear in life, Amen.
